Cold War Vehicle List

Identify the ten currently documented Cold War [APC] vehicles and choose a platform by transport, fire support, and crew needs.

The current documented Cold War [APC] vehicle list contains ten ground platforms: M151, M1025 HMMWV, M113A3, M2 Bradley, M60A3, UAZ-469, UAZ-469 Technical, MT-LB, BMP-2, and T-64A. The roster divides naturally into NATO and PACT families and includes light transport, armed utility vehicles, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, and tanks.

This is a dated identity list, not a current stat table. Spawn price, research requirement, seats, ammunition, armor behavior, repairs, map access, and class restrictions must be confirmed in the live vehicle menu.

NATO vehicle index

Light utility

M151

Use light vehicles for quick movement and route checks, but treat open exposure and concentrated fire as serious threats.

Utility vehicle

M1025 HMMWV

Coordinate driver, passengers, and any current mounted capability. Confirm the exact in-game label and configuration at spawn.

Armored transport

M113A3

The APC update publicly identifies this as the NATO armored personnel carrier. Its best value starts with protected, planned infantry movement.

Infantry fighting vehicle

M2 Bradley

Balance fire support with survival and infantry coordination. Do not infer exact armor or weapon values from the real vehicle.

Tank

M60A3

Use deliberate positioning, scanning, and an exit route. A tank separated from friendly infantry can still be surrounded.

PACT vehicle index

Light utility

UAZ-469

Prioritize transport and safe dismounts. Speed does not make an exposed route safe.

Armed utility

UAZ-469 Technical

Coordinate the driver and mounted position so movement and fire solve the same objective problem.

Armored transport

MT-LB

The APC update publicly identifies this as the PACT counterpart in the transport role. Keep dismount timing and cover central to the plan.

Infantry fighting vehicle

BMP-2

Support infantry from a survivable angle and avoid chasing targets beyond friendly protection.

Tank

T-64A

Control a meaningful route with crew communication. Verify current ammunition and damage feedback in the client.

Choose transport before firepower

If the objective is far from spawn, a light utility vehicle or APC can create more team value by delivering players than by searching for eliminations. Confirm the destination before boarding, use a route with cover, and stop in a protected area short of the objective. Passengers should leave quickly and spread rather than remaining inside a stationary target.

The driver should announce turns, stops, damage, and retreat. Passengers should watch different directions. If the vehicle carries a mounted weapon in the current configuration, the gunner should protect the movement plan instead of encouraging the driver to park in the open.

Never fill a vehicle with players until someone knows where it is going. An empty objective is not helped by a full transport driving away from it.

Use armored transports as APCs

Current APC update evidence names the M113A3 for NATO and MT-LB for PACT. Their defining guide role is transporting and supporting infantry. Armor can reduce some risks, but it does not make the vehicle invulnerable or turn every capture zone into a safe parking place.

Plan a covered loading point, route, dismount, support angle, and fallback. The crew should avoid blocking friendly infantry paths. After passengers leave, reposition so the vehicle can support without drawing all incoming fire onto the dismount area.

Read the dedicated APC guide for a full crew-and-passenger routine. Exact seats, weapons, damage states, and current cost are intentionally left to the live menu.

Coordinate fighting vehicles

The M2 Bradley and BMP-2 are documented as distinct roster entries rather than interchangeable skins. Their current in-game weapons, ammunition, armor, mobility, and passenger capability must be inspected directly. The same caution applies to the M60A3 and T-64A tanks.

Use a fighting vehicle where it can see the relevant route without exposing every side. Keep infantry close enough to spot nearby anti-vehicle players and prevent easy flanks. Do not tunnel on a distant vehicle while enemy infantry approaches through dead ground.

After firing or receiving damage, reassess. A retreat that preserves the platform can matter more than one extra shot. Tell infantry when you are leaving so they do not advance expecting support that has moved.

Operate mounted weapons as a crew

Current event summaries refer to six mounted-gun variants, but the complete live mapping between guns and vehicles needs an in-client check. Before combat, learn the traverse limits, ammunition display, reload behavior, visibility, and whether the gunner is exposed.

Drivers should stop with a useful arc, not merely the shortest route to the objective. Gunners should scan while moving but avoid firing without identification. When the position becomes predictable, move before the enemy prepares a response.

The Mounted Guns guide focuses on fields you can verify safely in the present build.

Check the live vehicle screen

Before spending currency or research, confirm faction, exact vehicle name, cost, prerequisites, crew class, available seats, and map or mode restrictions. If the vehicle is absent, it may be unavailable on that faction, map, server version, or current rotation; do not assume the roster record guarantees access.

When sharing information, include the date and server context. Historical costs and seat counts can become misleading after updates. Use the documented list for identity and the client for operation.

Evidence status

All ten vehicle names are supported by a current structured community directory. Official creator event material corroborates the M113A3 and MT-LB as APC update additions. Platform statistics, prices, unlock rules, seat counts, armament, armor behavior, and per-map access remain live-service facts requiring current verification.
